A Place to Belong

One of the reasons cozy mysteries
feel so comforting
is that they take place in a world
where people know each other.

A small town.
A familiar street.
A place where life is shared.

There is warmth
and a sense of closeness.

Getting to know Jesus is like that too.

He welcomes us with love,
makes room for us,
and gives us a place with Him.

With Him,
we are not just passing through.

We are invited in.
We are welcomed just as we are.

And in His love,
we begin to find
a place to belong.
