Behind the Lamppost

Hi, I’m Denise.

I’m really glad you’re here.

Some of my favorite things are
coffee with pumpkin pie spice and whipped cream,
cozy mysteries,
small-town diners,
and the charm of covered bridges.

When I was younger,
I used to peek at the endings of books.

These days,
I’m learning to trust Jesus
and live inside the cozy mystery He’s writing,
one page at a time.

The L.A.M.P. Path grew out of that journey.

Because sometimes you have a thought and wonder,
”Is this from God… or is it just me?”

And instead of peeking ahead or guessing in the dark,
I’ve learned to bring my thoughts into His light,
and take the next step with confidence.

If you’d like to come along,
I’ll save you a seat by the lamppost.
