It Begins with Love
Sometimes people think following Jesus is about rules.
Do this.
Don’t do that.
But that’s not where the story begins.
It begins with love.
Before we ever tried to follow Him,
before we ever understood anything about faith,
He loved us first.
The Bible says:
“We love because He first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
His love came first.
Not after we improved ourselves.
Not after we figured everything out.
First.
His love is the reason He guides us.
It’s the reason His light shines.
It’s the reason we don’t have to walk alone.
This isn’t about trying harder.
It’s about coming into the light of someone who already loves us.
And when we begin to see that love clearly,
something quiet starts to grow inside us.
Trust.
And step by step,
that trust becomes love in return.
