Why We Sit
Jesus said He is the vine,
and we are the branches.
Branches grow
when they stay connected to the vine.
Sitting with Jesus means
we stay connected with Him.
When we stay connected with Jesus,
we’re not left on our own
to figure everything out.
Over time, we begin to notice
what’s from Him
and what’s not.
We begin to understand,
Is that You, God,
or just me?
John 15:5
I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
