Jesus is the Light
Jesus is the Son of God.
He wants a relationship with us.
He is near,
and He still speaks to us.
Jesus said His people are like sheep,
and He is their shepherd.
Jesus said,
“My sheep hear My voice.”
This does not mean they hear Him out loud.
It means they begin to recognize what is true when a thought or direction comes from Him.
And He says,
“I know them.”
He knows them personally.
Then He says,
“they follow Me.”
Hearing His voice is not just listening.
It leads to following.
As we stay close to Him,
we begin to recognize
His voice.
And one of the clearest ways
we learn to recognize His voice
is through His Word.
John 10:27
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
