Make Room
Sometimes two good thoughts arrive at the same time.
Bubbles floated beside Poppy.
“Ready?” he asked.
Poppy nodded.
“Ready.”
They drifted over to a woman sitting on a bench.
“Stay in your job,” Bubbles urged.
“They treat you well, and the pay is great.”
Poppy spoke up next, just as softly.
“It’s time to step into something new,” she said.
She was confused. Both thoughts seemed good.
But which one was Jesus leading her toward?
She brought both thoughts into the lamplight
and asked Jesus to help her see clearly.
She didn’t hurry to decide.
She sat with Jesus
and kept bringing the question back to Him.
At first, nothing seemed to change.
Bubbles sighed.
“This is taking forever,” he whispered dramatically.
Poppy smiled.
“She’s asking Jesus. Give her time.”
As days passed, she prayed. She listened. She waited.
Both options still seemed good.
But after a while, one choice became clearer.
She began to see it was the next step.
In His light,
the way forward became clear.
Make Room
Sitting with Jesus
and giving Him time
to make the way clear.
